Owner, Diane Richardson has taught pet dog/puppy obedience since
1989, Competition
Rally/Novice Obedience and "Ring Attitude" Instruction since 2004.
Diane was also a
CGC Evaluator for many years. She has provided whelping/litter care
advise and
boarding kennel consultation since 1996.
Diane worked in the pet care industry for 20 years, 17 of those years
in pet resorts, and
managed pet resorts for 14 of those years. Her last position (11 years)
was manager of
an 83 run, 14 cat boarding, grooming and training facility with 7-10
employees. She has
her ABKA Level II Pet Care Technician certification and Red Cross Pet
First Aid.
Diane
has been involved with Rottweilers since 1985 (breeding them since
1991) and
Shiba Inu from 1995 - 2008. She has shown in conformation on and off
since the late 1980's with both Shiba Inu and Rottweilers and then in
2003 finally had time to venture into the competition obedience
world. The dog she did this with was Bea.( U-CD B Mine vd Frolikind zu
Frontier CD, RE, TD, CGC, TT)
In about 2 years Diane and Bea obtained the titles of AKC CD, CGC, TD,
RN, RA, RE,
USTTA TT, UKC CD and 4 RAE legs including a 1st place from a class of
50 Advanced
dogs and a 2nd from a class of 41 Excellent dogs. Bea earned a ranking
of 16th in Rally
Excellent from the ARC in 2005 (3 trials only!), a ranking of 11th in
Rally Advanced from
the ARC in 2006 and an ARC Top 10 medallion and certificate for her
rank of 5th in Rally
Excellent for the same year (4 trials only!).
At the time of her unexpected death from bone cancer (2/20/08), Bea was
ready for her TDX
test and Wildlife Recovery Dog (wounded game recovery) licensing.

Bea's
daughter, Annie (Frontier Komotion RE, CGC) earned her AKC RN in 3
straight trials at the age of 9 months old in 2006.
After
4 years away from trials Annie came back out and earned her Rally
Advanced title all 3 legs in the 90's and all 3 legs with placements. A
few months later she earned her Rally Excellent title all 3 legs with
placements.
Annie is also a working Wildlife Recovery/ blood tracking Dog |
